Eric Marin, MD
Dr. Eric Marin is a dual board-certified specialist in Sleep Medicine and Neurology, with a unique background bridging neuroscience, biomedical engineering, and technology. He completed his Sleep Medicine fellowship at Stanford University, one of the world’s leading programs in the field, following his Neurology residency at Saint Louis University Hospital, where he served as the Clinical Chief Resident.
Dr. Marin serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Neurology at Atrium Health/Wake Forest Baptist School of Medicine, where he lectures and mentors future physicians on the neurobiology of sleep, sleep disorders in neurological disease, and inpatient sleep medicine.
His research contributions focus on REM Sleep Behavior Disorder and parasomnias, and he has authored publications in Movement Disorders, Neurology, and Current Psychiatry. He also contributed chapters to both the Textbook of Sleep and Circadian Rhythms and The Encyclopedia of Sleep and Circadian Rhythms.
Dr. Marin is an active member of several professional societies, including the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, World Sleep Society, and International Restless Legs Syndrome Study Group.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys trying new restaurants with his wife, listening to audiobooks, and working out.
